“the measuring cuvette has not been calibrated”.
The error may occurs when:
- not proper calibration factors of measurement couvete has set,
- measurement couvete has not been calibrated yet.
Before repeating measurement:
- Ensure that the calibration process of the measuring cuvette has been carried out and completed successfully, read article please: calibration of the measurement couvette procedure
- Check if calibration factors of the measurement couvette are set. In the Statistics tab, under the items Volume A and Volume B, the calibration coefficients are showed. Typical values of item Volume A is in range 3.5 – 4.5ml and item Volume B in range 0 – 1ml

- filling pipe isn’t is not placed in the aquarium water
- the filling pipe is to long (longer than 2m),
- the Smart Tester is placed too high in relation to the tank from which the water sample is taken,
- the silicon tubes are clogged or damaged,
- filling pump is damaged,
- measuring couvette is dirty,
- measuring cuvette is incorrectly installed.
Before repeating measurement:
- be sure the silicon tubes are connected right – silicon tubes to the aquarium water connection – IN and the used water connection – OUT on the Smart Tester are connected as for normal use,
- clean measurement couvette (read this, please cleaning of the measuring couvette),
- be sure Smart Tester and silicon tubes are connected without any issues and are not coggled,
- make sure the measuring cuvette is properly seated in the capsule and installed in the Smart Tester (read this, please installation of the measuring cuvette )
- make sure there are no other contaminants in the measuring chamber.

- make sure there are no other contaminants in the measuring chamber.
If the problem occurs, contact Technical Support.

Error in step 7/7
The specified weights in step 3/7 ,5/7 or 7/7 are not correct. The entire calibration process must be stopped and started again. Before restarting the calibration process, check:
- if you have a balance with a resolution of at least 0.01g,
- if the balance has an accuracy class of at least +-0.05g,
- that the silicon tubes have the required length and are unobstructed.
If the problem occurs, contact Technical Support.
The error occurs when:
- the measured volume of the measuring cuvette is outside the range <1ml – 10ml> i.e. the weight in step 3/7 minus the weight in step 5/7 is not within the range 1g-10g
- the volume of water that remains in the measuring cuvette is greater than 1ml. i.e. the weight in step 3/7 minus the weight in step 7/7 is greater than 1g

If the problem occurs contact Technical Support.
The error occurs when:
- the RO water cartridge has not been connected,
- the droplet detection circuit is defective,
- chemical reagent dropper not properly seated in its socket, has been bent or damaged,
- the reagent pump is defective,
- obstructions in measuring chamber interfering with the operation of reagent droplet detection circuit, or measuring cuvette has not been correct installed.
Error in step 4/9

- if the RO water cartridge has been connected to the reagent B pump silicon tube,

Error in step 5/9
Failed to clean the reagent dropper C. Before repeating the step, check:
- if the RO water cartridge has been connected to the reagent C pump silicon tube,
- if chemical reagent dropper is fine (read this, please installation of the reagent droppers ),
- if measuring couvette has been correct installed (read this, please installation of measuring cuvette ).
If the problem persists contact Technical Support
The error occurs when:
- the RO water cartridge has not been connected,
- the droplet detection circuit is defective,
- chemical reagent dropper not properly seated in its socket, has been bent or damaged,
- the reagent pump is defective,
- obstructions in measuring chamber interfering with the operation of reagent droplet detection circuit, or measuring cuvette has not been correct installed.

The reagent droppers could not be cleaned. If the problem occurs then contact Technical Support
The error occurs when:
- the droplet detection circuit is defective,
- the droppers are defective,
- chemical reagent pumps are defective.

Failed to rinse/empty the measuring cuvette. Before repeating the step process, check:
- if the silicon tubes have been connected to the Smart Tester,
- if the silicon tubes have the required length,
- if the measuring cuvette is clean (read this, please cleaning of the measuring couvette ),
- make sure the measuring cuvette is properly seated in the capsule and installed in the Smart Tester (read this, please installation of measuring cuvette ),
